Littelfuse is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing, quality, and sales while maintaining existing products and developing derivatives. The role focuses on automotive-related electrical design, embedded systems, and power electronics, with cross-functional collaboration to ensure project execution through the New Product & Process Development process.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of electrical circuit design experience, automotive preferred.
• Experience with Altium PCB layout tools.
• Experience with embedded systems hardware/firmware; CAN a plus.
• Power electronics or solid-state switching experience preferred.

Reporting to the Product Engineering Manager you as a Electrical Engineer will be responsible for key responsibilities that include Support Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales on the maintenance of existing products and the creation of derivative products. Work with cross-functional development teams to maintain business continuity and ensures projects are executed through the Littelfuse New Product & Process Development process.

• Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates options and makes sound design recommendations for product development or enhancement.

• Prepares reports and technical specifications.

• Assists with project management and scheduling of customer requirements.

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standard requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

About you

• Bachelor or university degree in Engineering.
  3+ years’ experience of electrical circuit design, with preference in automotive product development.

• Experience with Altium PCB layout tools, >200A and >48V+ PCB design preferred Experience with embedded systems hardware/firmware, CAN experience a plus.

• Experience with power electronics / solid state switching preferred.

• Able to handle 2 – 4 concurrent projects.

• Interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Good communication skills.

• High attention to detail.
