What will you do?

You will function as a key member of the Electrical Engineering Department, collaborating with engineers on various innovative projects focused on electrical design, including Data Centre Air Handling Units and Electrical Panel design. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and ensure the delivery of comprehensive electrical designs. You will be responsible for producing CAD drawings and utilizing E-plan software under the guidance of senior Electrical engineers.

How will you do it?

• Provide technical design support specifically in electrical design engineering.

• Produce CAD drawings and utilize E Plan software (training will be provided).

• Lead project execution and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

• Create submittal packages and drawings based on client specifications.

• Engage with external clients to understand and fulfill their requirements.

• Design and select custom air handling equipment and modular data centers, including:

• Electrical systems tailored to client specifications.

• Assistance with the costing of units and components.

• Production of schematic drawings, single line diagrams, and construction packages.

• Participate in the development of new products and improvements of existing ones.

• Conduct periodic inspections of units under construction and collaborate with production teams.

• Engage in continuous product improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• +3 years of related electrical or consulting experience.

• Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or E Plan.

• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience with IEC standards and knowledge of safety standards like UL and CE.

• Familiarity with project management processes and tools.
