Versigent is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls SME in Mexico to develop and implement wiring process solutions for automation-ready equipment. You will oversee project priorities, manage resources, and deliver tooling that meets Versigent and OEM requirements.

The role demands strong knowledge in PLC programming (AB/Siemens/Pro-face), SCADA, and vision systems, with leadership abilities to drive cost reduction and continuous improvement across multiple simultaneous launches.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or related field.
• High level PLC programming across AB/Siemens/Pro-face platforms.
• Mid-High SCADA experience and control systems design.
• Knowledge of safety standards and cost-control practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage CAPEX budgets for product programs.
• Lead training plans for production plants and handoff procedures.
• Ensure equipment/tools meet Versigent and customer specifications.
• Drive multi-project execution for wiring processes and LTA launches.

Generic Description (Responsibilities)

• Development of Electrical Control Systems for Machinery specialized for Automation of harness assembly processes.
• The position requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) can manage priorities and resources to cover the new assigned launches ensuring Equipment and Tooling delivered meeting Versigent and OEM specific requirements for Wiring Processes.
• SME with proven technical Knowledge for Electrical Controls Engineering, PLC/SCADA, Automation and Vision Systems for Automated wiring processes.
• Responsible for new and specialized automated processes development focuses to optimize productivity, quality and cost.
• Responsible to implement New Technology in wiring processes to position Versigent as a leader in the market.
• This position requires an engineer capable to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Also will become the maximum authority for Electrical Controls System and traceability development and ensure Versigent specifications are met.

Required Competencies / Skills

• Bachelor degree in Engineering areas as Mechanic/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or similar.
• PLC (AB/Proface/Siemens) High level programming.
• SCADA mid-High level of experience required.
• Structured languages programing desired.
• Microsoft Office.
• English spoken/writing Med-High level.
• Advanced Communication skills.
• Teamwork.
• Communicate status of projects and keep abreast of technology.
• Leadership and focus in results.
• Knowledge in safety standards.
• Knowledge and experience following procedures.
• Ensure project costs are controlled and the budget is met.

• Deliver required documentation for equipment provided to the plants: documentation related to Handoff procedure.
• Provide machinery and tools training and recommendations to help the plant become self-sufficient.
• Provide the necessary support to ensure flawless launches.

General Functions

• Manage CAPEX budget for product programs.
• Responsible to develop and execute training plan for production plants.
• Ensure equipment and tools delivered to Versigent sites meet Customer and Versigent requirements.
• Develop supplier network that meet Versigent requirements.

Required Training According to the Position

• Project Management.
• Automation and new technologies overview.
• PLC Programing (Allen Bradley, Delta, Proface, Siemens and Others).
• Electric control systems design.
• SCADA Programming.
• New Tools application software (Marker builder, Iv2 navigator, Iv3 navigator and other).
• Safety Standards (risk assessment, ergonomic studies, noise evaluation, lock out and tag out).
• Design machinery electrical prints.
• Design and support vision systems (Cognex Insight and Keyence CVX).
• Communication protocols (Ethernet IP/Modbus, MQTT, IO-link, Modbus and Others).
• Machinery troubleshooting.
