Eaton is seeking an EHS Supervisor to lead environmental, health and safety activities at the site, ensuring compliance with EHS objectives and regulatory requirements. The role includes maintaining ISO 14001 certification, reporting metrics, and coordinating training for EHS personnel while engaging leadership to minimize risks.

The position focuses on driving a strong EHS culture, ensuring timely closure of findings, and managing interfaces with authorities.

Formación

• University degree in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• 3–7 years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations.
• ISO 14001 implementation experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain ISO 14001 certification and ensure EHS metrics reporting; close MESH and regulatory findings promptly.
• Establish ISO14001 policy, objectives and targets and implement effective controls.
• Manage environmental program to ensure regulatory and Eaton requirements compliance (Air, Water, Waste).
• Lead environmental projects like energy consumption reduction and waste minimization.
• Coordinate EHS training per MESH system and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
• Promote a Zero Incidents EHS culture and campus safety initiatives.
• Support investigations, audits, emergency response, chemical management, and risk analysis.
• Utilize MESH PRISM & BENCHMARK to manage injuries, environmental metrics, and risk items.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a EHS Supervisor.What you’ll do:Authority:Assure EHS related Eaton requirements and legal compliance. Stop processes and behaviors when they are non conformant with EHS policies and procedures.#Li-SL4Job Summary:Provides Environmental, Health, Safety leadership activities to the Site, assuring compliance of EHS objectives and targets; internal reporting of EHS performance; communication of national, area, and local regulatory requirements, and; ensuring documents are available in the local languages. Position is responsible for: implementing and maintaining site ISO 14001certification; assuring accurate and complete EHS reporting of metrics; assuring closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis; completion of required training for EHS personnel; managing interfaces with the public and governmental authorities with adverse findings and enforcement actions; directing actions during crises; site security, creating a strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site in EHS teams and processes.Job Responsibilities:A. Maintains the site ISO 14001 certification; assuring accurate and complete EHS metrics reports; closure of MESH and regulatory agency findings on a timely basis.B. Participates in establishing policy, objectives and targets of ISO14001 Environmental Management System, implementing an effective operational control to manage significant environmental aspects in their activities and services according with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.C. Manages the environmental program to assure compliance to regulatory agencies and Eaton requirements in Air emissions, Water, Waste and Environmental Risk. Attends regulatory inspections.D. Leads and promotes environmental projects (energy consumption reduction, waste reduction, zero waste to landfill, etc.)E. Monitor and ensure the training programs required by the MESH System (Enviromental, Health and Safety), ISO 14001:2015 Certificaction as the legal requirements aplicable to the site.F. Drives and promote “Zero Incidents” EHS culture throughout site, establishing the principles and methodologies for Campus Safety and Hygiene to prevent occupational hazards, accidents, illnesses, and injuries to employees. Works with leadership team to create targets and objectives’ based on key EHS risks.G. Helps implementation and maintains a multifunctional approaching to address at least the following EHS matters such as Investigation of accidents, Inspection audits, Preparation and emergency response, Management of chemicals, Environmental and Analysis, EHS risk analysis.H. Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH PRISM & BENCHMARK to manage data for injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information, providing necessary guidance to the plant manager and the leadership team about MESH.I. Pursues third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton’s EHS program as world class.J. Creates training matrices to ensure that all trainings are defined and tracked to completion.K. Manages activities to assure site achieves EHS targets & objectives.L. Maintains awareness of laws and regulations at national, regional, local and other, to determine if they affect plant operations and MESH to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS.M. Works with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.N. EHS team developmentQualifications:Education level required:University degree required, with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management. Years and area of experience required:3-7 years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene program management.Technical knowledge:Knowledge and application of EHS regulations issued by legal authorities.EHS related technical knowledge or experience (Eg.
