Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the company operates in compliance with applicable state and Federal regulations related to occupational and environmental health.

• Verify and maintain safe working conditions for employees.

• Keep official regulation documentation updated and accessible; identify available safety technologies for the plant; audit and coordinate chemical warehouse controls.

• Coordinate Safety, Emergency, and Hygiene Committees; conduct periodic inspections of work areas to verify safety conditions.

• Follow up on the annual safety program and implement corrective actions; provide materials recycling alternatives.

• Research chemical materials with minimal health impact; evaluate suppliers regarding services, safety, and environmental issues.

• Maintain control of documentation required for company procedures; conduct annual environmental monitoring of noise, chemicals, and hazardous materials per regulations.

• Audit official records as defined by the Official Labor Offices; promote and monitor safety and environmental control programs.

• Participate in internal safety and hygiene audits; provide training on Environmental, Health, Safety, and Hygiene topics at all plant levels; develop safety programs to reduce occupational risks.

• Supervise the implementation of safety, health, and environmental systems among direct reports; monitor compliance with EHS indicators.

• Establish and track Environmental, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Control goals for team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Experience with safety management software and tools.
