Corning Incorporated in Monterrey seeks an EH&S Intern to support the 2026 EH&S Annual HIRA Program. You will coordinate risk analysis sessions, track progress, verify quality of HIRA assessments, and manage action plans in Gensuite.

The role provides hands-on experience in hazard identification, risk evaluation, and EH&S process improvement, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and management.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a relevant engineering or safety degree.
• Basic knowledge of risk analysis and industrial safety.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Excel and risk management tools.
• Knowledge of EH&S platforms such as Gensuite is preferred.
• Analytical mindset to identify risks and propose preventive solutions.
• Good communication across organization levels.
• Proactive attitude to learn EH&S processes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and ensure participation of employees and area leaders in risk analysis sessions (HIRA).
• Follow up on the 2026 EH&S Annual HIRA Plan, ensuring compliance with scope and timelines.
• Review and verify completion and quality of HIRA assessments per EH&S guidelines.
• Capture and manage action plans in the Gensuite system.
• Follow up with action owners to ensure timely closure of action plans.
• Analyze risk information and propose preventive solutions for risk mitigation.
• Support preparation of progress and status reports for management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate HIRA activities.
• Maintain documentation related to risk analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational risk controls.
