Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety, and hazardous material standards, procedures, and practices consistent with TE, environmental, and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information in the Velocity system and generate statistical reports focused on continuous improvement.
• Follow-up and ensure compliance with action plans, findings, and projects.
• Conduct audits and support production areas and the plant in general.
• Ensure compliance with requirements of suppliers, contractors, and facilities.
• Deliver training courses; induction and various H&S topics.
• Control H&S metrics (BBS, NH, audits, training, etc.).
• Lead SAFE program to ensure compliance.
• Implement Management of Change (MOC) procedures and manage personnel and equipment movements.
• Perform risk analysis of machinery, equipment, and processes, and implement control measures.
• Lead SAFE initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Perform statistical analysis of BBS and near-misses in the velocity system.
• Carry out savings projects focused on EHS.
• Provide inductions to contractors and new hires.
• Review and implement work standards and medical procedures.
• Conduct MOC analysis and releases.
• Perform floor audits to identify risk control opportunities.
• Ensure ergonomic analysis compliance.
• Punctually attend required meetings.
• Follow-up on corrective actions for timely closure.
• Lead health and safety committee activities and develop training for team members.
• Participate in cross-area audits with VSM.
• Actively participate in Gemba walks and 5S practices.
• Conduct extensive training for personnel.
• Develop procedural improvements.
