Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Manager I – FRS to join our Global Food Retail division, which offers comprehensive cleaning and food safety programs tailored for the food retail industry. The role involves partnering with customers to identify and mitigate food safety risks, helping prevent foodborne illnesses. You will be responsible for developing and managing a customer territory, directly engaging with clients to provide prompt, personal, and reliable service.

What You Will Do
  1. Provide service to store customers, including food safety audits, equipment maintenance, staff training, product demonstrations, inventory management, and order recommendations
  2. Ensure correct product usage and high standards of cleaning and food safety through scientific processes
  3. Train customers on product usage, ordering, and inventory management
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with store customers and support partners, promptly communicating any issues
  5. Provide feedback to meet customer requirements and enhance satisfaction
  6. Identify new problems through on-site research and teamwork, offering solutions to improve customer trust and satisfaction
  7. Manage equipment installation in new stores, ensuring timely completion, and address urgent maintenance needs promptly
  8. Achieve sales targets through value delivery and customized strategies
  9. Maintain wide customer satisfaction through effective communication

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field
  • Flexibility to handle emergency calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong attention to food safety
  • Field sales experience preferred
  • Experience in food service, hospitality, or grocery sectors
  • Knowledge of food safety, mechanical aptitude, and equipment needs
  • Excellent service, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong planning, organizational, and relationship management skills
