Descripción del empleo

This position's responsibilities include participation in payroll processing, reporting, and account reconciliation. The role involves leading payroll-related projects and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Compile and prepare reports on income, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and salary summaries.
2. Ensure the company deducts employee taxes according to legal requirements.
3. Carry out payroll operations in compliance with policies and procedures.
4. Support registration and verification of withholdings for INFONAVIT credits, including Notices of Withholding, Modification, and Suspension of Discounts.
5. Register withholdings for FONACOT credits and provide supporting documentation for incidents.
6. Record deductions for Savings Fund loans and generate related files for contributions, loans, and withdrawals.
7. Calculate bimonthly variables, integrated salaries, IMSS/RCV/INFONAVIT and FONACOT payments, and State payroll tax.
8. Prepare reports and support internal and external audits.
9. Provide customer service to employees regarding payroll earnings and deductions.
10. Calculate profit sharing and bonuses.
11. Support weekly and biweekly payroll calculations as needed.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the entire payroll cycle and legal compliance in payroll processing.
• Knowledge of tax calculations, withholdings, and remittance.
• Understanding of accounting principles for payroll transactions.
• Ability to perform accurate calculations and handle confidential data ethically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of labor laws and proficiency with payroll systems like Tress and Oracle.
• Familiarity with SUA, IDSE, SIPARE, IMSS Virtual Desktop, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT platforms.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
