Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Piedras Negras, Coah (On-site)

Overview:

Kinetiq is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality department at the Piedras Negras manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with industry standards, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality excellence across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development:
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Quality team, promoting accountability and professional growth.
  • Quality Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement quality strategies aligned with corporate objectives, managing budgets and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Process & Product Quality Management:
  • Oversee validation, calibration, and statistical control processes (e.g., SPC, DOE, APQP) to maintain high-quality production standards.
  • Customer & Compliance Management:
  • Act as the primary Quality representative in customer interactions, ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
  • Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving:
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product and process quality, proactively addressing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  • Training & Capability Building:
  • Identify skill gaps and develop training programs to strengthen the Quality team’s technical and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a background in Quality, Engineering, or Process Engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Project Management.
  • Proven leadership experience in developing teams and driving organizational results.
  • Proficiency in English (90%+).
  • Deep knowledge of automotive standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3.

What We Offer:

  • Monthly salary range: 90,000 – 120,000 MXN
