A leading company in Mexico is seeking a Financial Institution Business Development professional. The role involves expanding payment channels and managing relationships with payment facilitators and banks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial institutions and strong bilingual skills in English and Spanish. Frequent travel across Latin America and China is expected.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in financial institutions or payment channels.
• In-depth understanding of local regulations regarding payment business.

Job Title : Financial Institution Business Development

Location : Mexico

Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Cooperation w/ payment facilitators. Expand payment channels in Mexico. Develop and manage relationships with local/ regional/international payment facilitators (payment gateway, 3rd party payment company, card scheme, bank, OTC and other alternative payment channels).
• Cooperation with Mexico Banks. Develop and manage partnerships with local and global banks to enhance service capacity. Reach out partnering banks for fund settlement, FX quotation/conversion, liquidity management and x-border solution.
• Enhance relationships with local regulators and promote inclusive financing in the region.
• From time to time, to enter a company campaign to coordinate overall FI cooperation in the project.

Requirements:

• 5+ years working experience, 3 years of which in FI or payment channel relationship. Working experience in 3rd part payment company/ payment solution in e-commerce platform/ cards scheme/bank’s payment solution department (payment or merchant acquiring) is preferred. with strong focus in Mexico
• In-depth understanding in local regulation and compliance regarding payment business and x-border fund movement in the region.
• Business sufficient in English and Spanish preferred. Able to work under pressure, rapid response to change.
• High frequent travel in Latin America and China.
