An established industry player is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to empower business areas through data visualization and analysis. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance transparency and improve processes. SUMMARY Embedded in the functional area he/she supports, the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst position empowers the business areas by providing data visualization and analysis. This position works with stakeholders at different levels of the organization to ensure transparency and collaboration between BI and the business. He/she provides diplomatic and timely communication in a dynamic environment and helps his/her functional area improve their processes and execute their plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitors and proactively identifies trends, successes and areas for improvement within the area he/she supports.
• Analyzes data and provides conclusions and/or suggested actions.
• Facilitates requirement gathering and specification development for BI projects and requests.
• Acts as a liaison between the business users and the BI report development team and is responsible for the delivery of front-end BI solutions to the business.
• Performs thorough testing of all solutions delivered to his/her functional area, adhering to the QA standards of the BI department.
• Ensures that all solutions delivered to his/her functional area are to specification (any required deviations should be proactively communicated to the requestor).
• Supports continuous improvement projects by providing data and BI insight.
• Develops and maintains tools for daily monitoring of KPI’s.
• Prioritizes workload based on business need.
• Maintains accurate accounting of time spent and status for all Remedy tasks where he/she is the assignee.
• May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager.
• Support on the Digitalization of Activities by using Power Automate. Power BI and Powe Apps.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in IT or business related field is required.
• Function requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience in data analysis and/or report development, Power BI.
• Proficiency in BI tools and building queries using MSSQL, Microsoft Access or a similar querying tool as well as familiarity with the advanced features of Microsoft Excel is required. Familiarity with SSAS, SSRS, HTML, SharePoint Power automate and PowerApps are desired
• .Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Advanced level of English (written and conversational)
