This is a remote position and can be located in Mexico City or Guadalajara.

Our Non-employee Risk Management Team is looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer interested in mastering the world of Identity Governance. As you acquire knowledge of this critical and growing industry, you will employ that to influence the quality and direction of SailPoint products.

A successful QA Engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, experience creating extensive test plans, and ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards. We are looking for someone capable of driving several projects to completion from a QA perspective. Responsibilities include creation/maintenance of test plans, development/implementation of automated testing frameworks (e2e, integration, and performance), manual testing of UI on web applications, and API contract testing.

You will:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in a QA Engineering role.

  • Have 3+ years of automated test framework design and development with frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.

  • Have 2+ years of experience automated testing of APIs with tools such as Postman, Pactflow, or Pact.io.

  • Have experience working with monitoring and system logs (Datadog or other tools) to help identify potential defects.

  • Have experience working with CI/CD.

  • Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and product managers to create comprehensive test plans that provide thorough test coverage for both critical and edge case scenarios based on business requirements.

  • Be responsible for verifying the quality of features added or enhanced within the product, acting as a customer advocate to ensure that SailPoint offerings are well-designed and easy to use.

  • Be able to manage multiple testing initiatives spanning multiple teams.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test data and environments.

  • Work with other QA team members to learn best practices for how to test SailPoint products and help strengthen our overall test coverage.

  • Have experience working in agile environments and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Have excellent written and oral English communication skills.

  • Develop, promote, and maintain quality standards and quality control systems.

  • Gain knowledge in the Identity Governance domain, via hands-on learning and formal training sessions.

  • Be able to question design and implementation decisions, and when necessary, to stop the delivery of code until critical issues are resolved.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience testing SaaS applications.

  • Experience developing and/or maintaining performance tests with frameworks such as k6 or loadster.

  • Experience with security testing.

  • Experience with accessibility testing.

  • Experience working with a distributed team.
