About the Role

As the Manager of our Training & Quality teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping employee development through feedback loops and training. You’ll partner with our ops teams, build and implement action plans to improve our processes, and own the solutions and outcomes—covering everything from high-level strategy to detailed execution while managing multiple projects. You will assess the outcomes of your initiatives and plans to iterate based on performance feedback. This role is based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid schedule, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Operational Excellence. Occasional travel to Tempe, Arizona, USA, may be required.

  • Collaborate with multiple DoorDash teams to improve site performance, complete projects, and support QA and training initiatives.
  • Take ownership of new process development, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

  • Evaluate employees’ skills, performance, and productivity during their first 30 days to identify improvement areas.
  • Embed brand and company values into all training and development activities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, trainers, and management.
  • Partner with Supervisors to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Oversee technologies and technical personnel involved in training development and delivery.
  • Support the growth and development of your team as a Leader of Leaders.

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in project leadership or supervision, leading multiple teams or organizations, and guiding leaders.
  • You have a proven track record of developing and implementing organization-wide processes.
  • You possess strong skills in driving process improvements, automation, and scaling projects.
  • You have successfully led cross-functional projects and workstreams.
  • You demonstrate leadership and mentorship abilities to develop Project Leads.
  • You are passionate about creating a culture focused on an excellent Merchant experience.
  • You can inspire and motivate teams, building trust and influencing peers and leadership.
  • You are skilled in problem definition, stakeholder identification, understanding audience needs, and measuring success.
  • You have experience in curriculum design, adult learning, development, or education.
  • You have experience in coaching and improving KPIs during onboarding.
  • You are proficient with data analysis tools like G-Sheets, Sigma, Tableau, and have SQL knowledge (desired but not required).
  • You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
