Google is seeking a Share Software Engineer for Education Analytics in Mexico City. This mid-level role requires building scalable data-driven web applications and collaborating with product, design, and research teams to meet educators' needs.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and 2 years of software development or 1 year with an advanced degree, plus experience with data structures, algorithms, and Java. Master's/PhD are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience developing web-based applications.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields (preferred).
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Java and scaling/productionizing data processing pipelines.
• Ability to work across teams and with customers/partners to deliver on commitments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build new software systems spanning data processing, infrastructure, deployment, and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand educators’ needs and translate into technical decisions.
• Review code and provide feedback for best practices, testing, and efficiency.
• Work with partner engineering teams to ingest, analyze, and surface education data in Analytics platform.
• Contribute to team culture and operational excellence.
