Job summary

Ford of Mexico is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build the software ecosystem powering AI Vision Systems. You will connect ML models on edge hardware with a Google Cloud analytics backend, delivering real-world AI that moves from lab to production.

You will deploy edge models, build RESTful APIs, design data pipelines, and create high-performance dashboards using React/TypeScript. Collaboration with data scientists and hardware engineers is essential to optimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Edge deployment experience on IoT hardware or edge devices.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of C++, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar (AWS/Azure) with managed databases.
• Frontend experience with React (TypeScript) and building responsive web apps.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
• Experience with OpenCV, TensorRT, or OpenVINO for vision optimization.
• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of MQTT or WebSockets for real-time data streaming.
• Interest in Agentic workflows and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Edge software integration: deploy ML models on edge devices with low latency for real-time vision tasks.
• Full-stack API development: build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices (Python/C++) connecting edge devices to cloud backends.
• Data architecture: design data pipelines using Google Cloud tools (BigQuery, Postgres) for real-time data and telemetry.
• Web interfaces: create dashboards (React/TypeScript) to monitor system health and AI-driven insights.
• AI-augmented engineering: leverage Agentic AI tools to accelerate development and maintain code quality.
• Cross-functional delivery: collaborate with Data Scientists to containerize models (Docker/Kubernetes) and with Hardware Engineers to validate performance.
