Main Responsibilities
  1. Support manufacturing operations on the shop floor, focusing on assembly processes.
  2. Investigate, contain, and resolve quality non-conformances using production and customer warranty data.
  3. Manage daily quality calls across multiple product lines, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions promptly.
  4. Communicate effectively with management, operations, and cross-functional teams regarding quality issues.
  5. Lead quality planning and execution, including risk analysis, control plans, and strategic improvements. Maintain quality performance documentation.
  6. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, delivery, ergonomics, and reduce costs.
  7. Drive Build-In-Quality projects for the forestry line.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and product design to embed quality into processes and products.
Required Skills
  • Technical aptitude in assembly, manufacturing, or product validation.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, process and failure mode effects analysis, corrective actions, mistake proofing, or digital process control tools like Power Apps & Power Automate.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Analytical skills to interpret trend data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in product quality, including measurement reports, dimensional inspection tools, and risk mitigation.
  • Willingness to work overtime, variable shifts, and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in production quality or manufacturing in an assembly environment.
  • Familiarity with JDAAT & Ignition systems.
  • Knowledge of GD&T.
