Quality Engineer Role

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications. This involves creating and implementing quality control processes, conducting product testing and analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with other teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production of Spectra strip product lines. The Quality Engineer is accountable for meeting and improving the business P&L and driving a culture of continuous improvement across all facets of operations.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Partner with Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production Teams to set production goals aligned with customer needs and BU targets.
  2. Manage the efficient operation of the Spectra Strip line, with responsibility for the business P&L, financial margins, scrap rates, yields, and plan attainment.
  3. Determine and implement world-class quality control standards and practices.
  4. Facilitate effective Gemba walks using KPIs to meet performance objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  6. Develop and implement quality control systems, monitor and analyze quality performance.
  7. Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  8. Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues, developing corrective actions and improvements.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1.5 years of proven experience in process quality management.
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems and ISO Standards.
  • 3 years of experience in process quality management.
  • Proficiency in English at least 85%.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, with a sense of urgency and dynamic approach.
  • Experience in Project Management, NPI, and engineering changes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
