About the role

The MDM Data Analyst reports to the MDM/Data Governance Manager and is responsible for managing the end-to-end master data processes for customer and product data within Kerry. This role ensures data quality, adherence to processes, and compliance across applications, working with business leads to maintain consistency and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage daily MDM data steward activities.
2. Handle ad hoc customer and product master data requests.
3. Participate in MDM User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
4. Operational Excellence (35%)
5. Define and document MDM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
6. Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer and product master data.
7. Understand end-to-end processes for maintaining master data across business areas.
8. Harmonize customer and product data from multiple sources.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)
10. Collaborate with stakeholders and adhere to process standards.
11. Coordinate with IT on application changes, issue resolution, and planning for upgrades.
12. Assist in defining data sourcing and service strategies, including evaluating third-party data providers.

Qualifications and skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, business administration, MIS, finance, sciences, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Experience with a full cycle of MDM implementation preferred.

• Strong business acumen.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Experience with data structures, relations, and processes.
• Background in technology and data management.
• Ability to understand and correct data discrepancies, read data models, query data, and analyze root causes.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases preferred.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. Decisions on data harmonization impact sales, IT, and field operations.

Collaborates with senior management, stakeholders across business units, sales teams, IT, vendors, and consultants to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
