How will you make an impact in this role?

This role will lead the strategy and execution of Experiential Marketing programs for Premium Card Members, as well as oversee marketing efforts within our Centurion Lounges. The ideal candidate will deliver innovative, high-impact experiences that build brand affinity, deepen engagement, and elevate the premium customer journey. This role requires strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, customer focus, and a deep understanding of the luxury and lifestyle space.

Key Responsibilities

Experiential Events:

  • Design and deliver unique, high-touch events tailored for top-tier Card Members, aligned with brand positioning and global experience standards.
  • Develop and execute annual experiential calendar integrating brand storytelling, customer insights, and cultural moments.
  • Lead cross-functional event execution, including agencies, sourcing venues, negotiating with partners, and managing logistics with a premium lens.

Centurion Lounges Marketing:

  • Oversee premium marketing strategy across Centurion Lounges.
  • Create communications and experiential touchpoints to enhance the in-lounge customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Lounges Operations and Brand teams to ensure brand consistency and elevated standards.

Strategy & Planning:

  • Define clear objectives, success metrics, and post-program reporting for all experiential and lounges marketing efforts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure American Express remains at the forefront of premium experiences.
  • Lead experiential and lounges marketing budgets, including planning, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure optimal budget allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee third-party partners and agencies to ensure excellence in delivery, brand compliance, and operational efficiency.

Partnerships & Collaboration:

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with leading luxury, cultural, and lifestyle brands that bring exclusive value to cardmembers.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with partners that reinforce brand prestige and drive engagement.

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience in premium/luxury brand marketing, experiential marketing, or event management.
  • Experience working with affluent customer segments and delivering high-end, bespoke experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute with excellence.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with obsessive attention to detail.
  • Proven success managing cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Analytical mindset with experience managing budgets and measuring campaign performance.
  • Passion for luxury, travel, hospitality, and customer experience.
