Formación

  • 10+ years of management experience in high-volume maquiladora industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in English for project presentations and negotiations.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Tools and Six Sigma methodologies.

Summary:

Coordinate the engineering functions responsible for product analysis to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize operational efficiency, and minimize production costs.

Essential obligations and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical authority for installation, manufacturing methods, and compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, cost, delivery, and lead-time requirements and continue to do so.
  • Act as the lead technical expert in presenting and discussing products and solutions with the business unit and/or customers.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, anticipating and responding to emerging business needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain process standardization across the facility.
  • Standardize equipment and coating materials used in thermal spray operations.
  • Lead and oversee cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the engineering department, fostering a culture of empowerment.
  • Recommend changes to working conditions and equipment to increase efficiency, collaborating with CI to implement improvements.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and report on manufacturing system status, proposing corrective actions to support operations.
  • Create and communicate internal documents such as FMEA, control plans, process flow diagrams, R&R measures, etc., related to customer requirements.

Skills:

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of management experience in a high-volume maquiladora industry, preferably in the medical sector.
  • Advanced proficiency in English for project presentations and negotiations.
  • Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols, ISO-13485, Lean Manufacturing Tools, Six Sigma, DFMEA, Kaizen, VSM, BOMs, and Routings.
  • Valuable if possessing knowledge of RF Technology and Sewing Manufacturing strategies.
