Maintenance Engineer
Development and follow-up of integral solutions for the DC area, addressing downtime, chronic failures, design opportunities in equipment involving PLC programming, robot programming, signal conditioning and integration of new technologies to the process to improve the output of the production lines. Active participation in the development of new production lines and upgrades to currently running models, benchmarking against organizational standards and lessons learned, involvement in CPS and MPS implementation. Lead in AMG meetings mainly maintenance KPI's, reporting results and countermeasures (if required) through effective communication defining actions and accountabilities to guide the team to the true north. Use of root cause analysis tools to eliminate root causes for critical failures (GIS) and chronic failures complying with the elements of accountability (clear expectations of the team, clear metrics, cadence in the follow-up and mentoring of the collaborators). Support in the administration of the preventive system of the area, notifying the AMG of the necessary interventions for the execution of activities and feedback on areas of opportunity in the execution of preventive and anomalies found during the operation. Support in the generation of work instructions, visual aids and standardized work relevant to the maintenance area and team. Assertive communication and search for efficient solutions as a key part of the AMG, leading the group members on shift generating Autoliv's culture through key behaviors resulting in a return in higher stability results (KPI's compliance) in the area as a more solid system in terms of standards (visual aids, work instructions, dispatch of preventive and corrective during the week). Daily report in SQDCM meeting. Weekly report of Downtime, MTTR and MTBF. Monthly CCB's report. Monthly Yokoten progress report. Monthly report of closed Jidokas. Monthly PM's closing report. Quarterly Workshop.
Specific knowledge of DC. Advanced knowledge of maintenance related energies (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic). Fanuc robot programming. PLC programming. Initiative and autonomy. Highly developed safety concept. Administrative and field skills.
