Job Purpose:

The Marketing Procurement Assistant Manager in Mexico will enhance the efficiency of the Ice Cream business’s marketing media spend. This role involves working with global, regional, and cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes, reduce complexity, and support growth strategies during the transition to a standalone company.

The successful candidate will negotiate, analyze, and build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Regular engagement with leadership will ensure agility in a dynamic market environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with regional and local stakeholders, aligning with business priorities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and ensure procurement strategies meet financial and operational targets.
  • Portfolio Coordination: Collaborate with BU Leads to align regional execution with global strategy.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in sourcing processes.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, suppliers, and pricing.
  • Accountability for Results: Deliver on KPIs supporting growth and operational goals.
  • Best Practices Sharing: Share insights and best practices across markets and teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 5 years in procurement, with 2+ years in marketing procurement within FMCG.
  • Experience managing complex marketing portfolios across categories.
  • Understanding of supply and value chain management, preferably globally.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
