We are currently searching for an IT Sub Director - Banking Sector:

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and proper functioning of systems and technological applications for fund management in collaboration with providers.
• Manage IT projects for the fund admin area, ensuring compliance with the bank's regulatory, personalized, operational, and strategic requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and corporations to develop solutions that support organizational objectives.
• Supervise service contracts, incident management, and project follow-ups with IT providers to ensure service quality and effectiveness.
• Support all bank areas in defining requirements, designing technological solutions, managing productive incidents, and project testing.
• Develop leadership materials for projects and Business As Usual (BAU) activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proficient in fund investment operations, Fund Distribution, Custody, Depository, and related technology.
• Experience in managing incident and risk control, including technological and operational risk mitigation.
• Proven experience in managing IT environments and supporting production within a banking or financial services setting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance, particularly those related to the banking sector.
• Strong project management skills and experience in managing technology teams.
• Knowledge of database management (Oracle), programming languages (Java, VB.Net), and AppServer (WAS).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

Languages

• Advanced Oral English.
• Native Spanish.
