Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor ASCO QUERETAROin our Queretaro, Qro.MX location.
Mission Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for hierarchical management of operators or teams of operators in a Distribution Center/Warehouse.
Responsible for employee performance, development, engagement.
Responsible for the performance of "standard work" within the sector or department.
May occasionally fill in for or assist operators as needed.
May be responsible for temporarily moving or shifting individual operators from one position or sector to another depending on changes in demand or priorities
Adjust MPH (Material Providing and Handling) programs according to customer priorities in the ad-hoc systems (LDS, DISS, …)
Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods > stocking > picking > Material handling > shipping finished goods and wastes
Synchronize support function actors on short term actions
Manage warehouse processes performance and his team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plant
Deploy & implement SC Planning Central team guidelines for inventory management
Ensure inventories accuracy with permanent alignment between operations & inventory (IT data & physical situation)
Guarantee that service level, quality environment, process lead time, maintenance & productivity goals are reached Monitor and analyse logistic costs
Enforce compliance with EHS and 5S rules, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more production or assembly areas.
Responsible for “kitting” materials on the production line to ensure all parts of order required are at point of origination to keep line moving at steady pace.
Responsible for picking parts from Kanban or storage areas and placing the parts into a storage cart (kit).
Ensures correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements.
May take parts from inventory area and ensures Water Spider is kept stocked at appropriate levels of inventory.
May operate forklift truck or hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and supplies.
Inspects parts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or Quality personnel.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Perform cycle counts/physical inventory
Qualifications:
5 years relevant experience - manages processes & teams associated with planning, directing, and monitoring all warehouse activities.
Preferred JDE knowledge.
Strong experience with SAP Production / Warehouse Replenishment Strategy
Capacity for problems analysis and synthesis
Proficiency MS Office
