We are expanding our legal department and we’re looking for a talented and experienced professional to be the Senior Lawyer. You will be responsible for maintaining communication with external suppliers, providing legal advice regarding Mexico and LATAM, and creating new processes for our inVision projects.

Please note that CVs in English will be considered primarily.

This position is based in Mexico City, Mexico.

What you will do:

1. Legal research: Conduct complex legal research and analysis to support the implementation of educational, cultural, sports, and other socially-oriented impact projects.
2. Legal support of launches: Lead legal support during project launches in the LATAM region.
3. Legal advisory: Provide expert legal advice on non-profit projects and initiatives; review publications and marketing materials.
4. Regulatory monitoring: Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting impact projects in the countries of presence.
5. Drafting and reviewing: Draft and review terms of use, policies, contracts, including service agreements, sponsorship, cooperation, and donation agreements.
6. Oversight of legal compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure impact projects' compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Corporate support of NGOs.

What we expect from you:

• Law degree;
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience;
• Proficiency in conducting legal research, analyzing case law, statutes, and regulations;
• Ability to provide clear and practical recommendations based on research;
• Expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents;
• Experience working on complex, cross-functional, and international projects;
• High responsibility and self-organization;
• Effective communication skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Fluent in legal Spanish and English, both written and verbal;
• Experience supporting educational, art, sports, and other socially-oriented/non-profit projects, as well as fundraising support, is beneficial.
