Una empresa líder en el sector busca un Comprador con experiencia para gestionar la adquisición de materiales y servicios. El candidato ideal tendrá un enfoque en la negociación y la gestión de proveedores, con un fuerte sentido comercial y habilidades de comunicación. Se requiere un título universitario y al menos 5 años de experiencia en compras, así como un conocimiento sólido de SAP y MS Office. Esta posición ofrece la oportunidad de contribuir a la eficiencia y efectividad del proceso de adquisiciones.
• Purchase materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.
• Qualify vendors, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
• Manage complex third-party suppliers and manufacturing with responsibilities of buying, planning, and logistics.
• Track purchases, monitor vendor quality, and maintain a current database of vendor information.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
• Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
• Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
• Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
• Provide quotes as requested.
• Provide feedback to internal customers and update reports.
• Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
• Commercially and financially aware.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree, 5 years of buying experience
• Excellent knowledge of planning and quality control principles
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, SAP preferred
• Working knowledge of logistics
• Analytical, and numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities.
