Responsibilities

1. Investigate and defend against cybersecurity incidents such as credential theft, phishing attacks, domain abuse, social media impersonations, business email compromise (BEC) attacks, and other threats to the digital risk landscape.
2. Monitor internal proprietary detection systems for new attacks and validate malicious threats.
3. Monitor client systems for attack reports and analyze potential attack vectors, exploring resolution options.
4. Build relationships with partnering providers and clients.
5. Collaborate across multiple teams to enhance protection and service for clients.
6. Utilize various tools including DNS, WhoIs, open-source tools, scripting (Bash, GO, Python), Linux, and more.
7. Work during Eastern Standard Time hours.

Qualifications

1. Relevant education or experience in IT or cybersecurity is preferred.
2. Knowledge of internet technologies such as IP subnetting, DNS, zone files, TLDs, HTTP, SMTP.
3. Understanding of common internet attacks, social engineering, and scams across channels including social media and mobile.
4. Analytical skills for solving complex problems.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, electronic).
7. Self-motivated and passionate about client satisfaction.
8. Ability to work remotely with team members.
9. Basic understanding of Unix/Linux command line.
