About The Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Financial Operations Associate to support our growing financial team. This role is ideal for professionals with 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting—preferably within the medical or healthcare industry. The right candidate will have a strong track record in processing invoices, managing financial documentation, and supporting operational accounting functions.

You’ll be working remotely, collaborating with a cross-functional team across the U.S. and South America. Precision, confidentiality, and communication skills are key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and process high volumes of invoices accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Work directly with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Ensure financial operations are compliant with internal policies and regional regulations.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
  • Use accounting and ERP software tools to track financial transactions and data.
  • Maintain strong documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
  • Previous experience in the medical or healthcare industry is required. (This is a must-have qualification.)
  • Strong background in invoice processing and financial administration.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using accounting tools and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working remotely with cross-border financial teams.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare billing, or insurance claims processing.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
