YOUR TASKS

Objective: Lead and coordinate the Launch and Change Management team within the plant to ensure the successful launch of new products, effective implementation of engineering changes, and cost improvements throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure compliance with HELLA standards, maintain full project transparency, and foster effective cross-functional collaboration. Conditionally take over operational project management tasks for complex projects when needed.

Project Management
  1. Propose, agree, and follow up on targets regarding quality, costs, and timing with Project Management, on behalf of the Internal Factory Manager / Plant Manager.
  2. Ensure project targets are achieved or exceeded, monitor launch and change performance, identify gaps, and define corrective actions.
  3. Define team members for Operations Project Teams with functional departments, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
  4. Advance HELLA standards for processes, methods, and tools in Launch and Change Management, including cross-functional standards.
  5. Plan, coordinate, and monitor project tasks and work packages using predefined HELLA standards.
  6. Identify claim potentials from engineering changes and maintain valid status on change requests concerning their impact on project targets.
  7. Understand product specifications and manufacturing processes to support decision-making, reflecting effects across departments.
  8. Ensure Design for Manufacturing aligns with state-of-the-art technology, optimizing costs while meeting quality and productivity standards.
  9. Ensure correct execution of all tasks and steps in the PEP, including production flow planning, process and layout selection, equipment procurement, and acceptance tests.
  10. Manage production-related documentation and master data throughout the product lifecycle according to standards.
  11. Participate in internal and external project audits.
  12. Ensure projects follow HELLA corporate processes and standards.
Leadership
  1. Deploy employees based on their qualifications within the team structure, supporting and motivating them to fulfill their tasks.
  2. Guide, instruct, and support employees in their functions.
  3. Participate in hiring processes and ensure team performance, evaluation, and qualification development.
Your Qualifications
  • 6 to 7 years of experience in Project Management within manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industries.
  • Hands-on experience supervising and developing team members, promoting skills growth and teamwork.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Proven experience managing escalation processes, including criteria, communication, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural, global environments, collaborating across diverse teams and cultures.
