Formación

Job Description

Ensure the timely and accurate movement of freight and information while providing exceptional customer service within the TRANSCON Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
  3. Track and trace TRANSCON files and reporting.
  4. Use export TRANSCON Workflow daily.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
  6. Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
  7. Interact with customers to arrange TRANSCON shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  8. Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  9. Comply with all internal and external regulations in accordance with government standards.
  10. Understand department process flow and seek best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  11. Ensure all customer standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the DLSOPs.
  12. Meet KPI standards according to company procedures.
  13. Maintain effective communication, respond promptly to emails and requests (internal and external).
  14. Escalate problems to management when necessary.
  15. Promote compliance by diligently following all company policies and regulations, performing tasks with integrity and pride.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Expeditors’ Company Policies and Procedures
  • Basic local regulatory knowledge for compliance
  • Global Logistics Industry knowledge
  • Hazardous materials certification (preferred)

Skills:

  • Proactive, strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication to achieve positive results

Education and Experience:

  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience
