NexusTours is seeking an ESG Manager to lead their Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy. This role involves designing and implementing the ESG strategy, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring compliance with international sustainability standards. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ESG roles, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to sustainability in the tourism industry.

Formación

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG, CSR, or sustainability roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks: GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs, ISO 14001.
  • Fluent in English (C1+); Spanish proficiency is an asset.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the ESG strategy at GoNexus Group. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate ESG into our business model, create impact-driven programs, and ensure that we meet the highest international standards of sustainability and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the company-wide ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with GoNexus Group’s business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Build and monitor ESG KPIs across environmental, social, and governance pillars.

Prepare and manage ESG reports (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and ensure regulatory compliance.

Partner with internal teams (People, Operations, Legal, Communications) to embed ESG in daily decision-making and long-term planning.

Identify ESG risks and opportunities across our tourism value chain in LATAM and the Caribbean.

Promote sustainability awareness and drive cultural transformation through training, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.

Manage relationships with key partners, regulators, and certifying organizations.

Stay informed on global ESG trends, standards, and innovations relevant to the travel and hospitality industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG, CSR, or sustainability roles, ideally in tourism, hospitality, or multinational organizations.

Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks: GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs, ISO 14001.

Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects across multiple business units and regions.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficient in stakeholder engagement and ESG data analysis/reporting.

Fluent in English (C1+); Spanish proficiency is an asset.

Experience with carbon footprint assessment, DEI initiatives, or governance compliance is a plus.
