As RSV Medical Advisor, You’ll participate to and execute the Medical and scientific strategy for the Mexico RSV Portfolio/therapeutic area in close partnership with the other functional franchise leads and in alignment with the overall franchise strategy.

Main responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong business acumen, acting as a key strategic business partner to the organization.
  • Initiate and drive projects to raise standards of care and change clinical practice.
  • Ability to work independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to ambiguity.
  • Lead and drive rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis.
  • Deep therapy area expertise and product knowledge including competitor data.
  • Drive strong collaborative relationships with commercial and cross-functional teams, including marketing, value & access, health economics, regulatory and clinical.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external experts.
  • Drive collaborative relationships with above-country colleagues to ensure the MCO / country involvement and strategic input into global and regional plans.
  • Good understanding of the impact and evolution of healthcare systems.
  • Lead creation and implementation of medical plans.
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate new data and integrate into new therapy area.

About you

  • Experience: Relevant medical background working as a Medical Scientific Liaison, Medical Manager or similar scientific role in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Soft skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to simplify complex topics, good negotiation, and networking skills.
    • Learning agility to quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment.
    • Self-driven and organized, and ability to manage time efficiently, and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Technical skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of the disease state, therapeutic area, the relevant products in the portfolio and in the pipeline. Vaccines knowledge is a plus!
    • Familiarity with omnichannel tools and being able to communicate via digital channels from a remote environment.
    • Good knowledge of pharmacovigilance and local regulatory process and its impact on the product portfolio.
  • Education: Medical degree or post graduate level science degree in infectiology, pneumology or pediatrics is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish is a must
