The team is in charge of our long-term planning to fulfill expected demand, leveraging our Fulfillment Centers, Inventory Placement, Inbound, and Topology Network design, among other teams involved in Amazon's Supply Chain and key stakeholders from different markets worldwide.

The Sr Manager will play a critical role in coordinating our Long Term Planning Cycles and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, aligning with our business goals. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce supply chain management.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure Long Term Planning cycles (Q' Guidance, OP cycles, 3-Year Plans); including inputs' alignment, stakeholder reviews, and final proposals.
  2. Lead strategic conversations to define our project portfolio.
  3. Plan and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with our goals and priorities.
  4. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track progress and mitigate risks.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  6. Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices tailored to Amazon.
  7. Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior leadership, on project milestones, risks, and outcomes.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in project execution and operational workflows.
  9. Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, MS Project or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related fields
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • PMP certification
  • Knowledge of e-commerce operations
