We are hiring a Junior Project Manager.

Our mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.

The role involves:

  1. Ensuring projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, and resources expectations.
  2. Supporting the identification of technical and project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  3. Maintaining a strong customer focus and working with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  4. Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
  5. Supporting the delivery schedule of third-party deliverables.
  6. Advocating for appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio to customers.

What we are looking for in you

The ideal candidate will have a solid academic background in science, software engineering, or information technology, with excellent communication skills in English and a solution-oriented mindset. Demonstrated leadership, a passion for technology, and the ability to 'make things happen' are essential.

  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative narrative.
  • Confidence in speaking up, exchanging feedback, and sharing ideas.
  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations.

  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
