Job Description

Infosys – Developer

The Developer role focuses on code analysis and strategy, creating technical specifications, developing code and design for mildly complex projects, participating in code reviews, and supporting the team throughout the development lifecycle—including design, review, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. This resource champions customer success, collaborates with the customer and the business to translate business logic into code, and adapts to changes in requirements.

On the Salesforce platform, the Developer 1 achieves these tasks by creating custom applications and processes using Apex, JavaScript, and Flows, customizing visual layouts with VisualForce, building one-page applications on the Lightning Platform, integrating third-party systems using RESTful web design principles, developing automated test suites in Apex, and troubleshooting technical issues using built-in debugging tools.

The Developer applies Agile practices, including iterative and incremental development, adheres to object-oriented design principles, and implements new processes according to industry-accepted best practices. In general, this resource serves as a subject matter expert, utilizing technical expertise to identify new application solutions and improve process efficiency.

Locations for this position are Mexico (Mexico City).

Qualifications - Basic

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3-4+ years of related experience in Salesforce Force.com platform/Service Cloud implementations

Mandatory Skillsets:

• Experience in Salesforce development and implementations with good command of Apex, Visualforce, controllers, triggers, batch processes, APIs, and web services.
• Understanding of best practices on Coding Standards, Deployment, Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce Integration, and Security implementations.
• Proficiency in writing Apex Classes, VisualForce Pages, Apex Triggers, Controllers, and JQueries to implement complex business requirements.
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce domain, especially Salesforce Sales Cloud and Communities solutions.
• Salesforce Certification is required.

Other Relevant Experience:

• Proficient in English communication.
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse/multiple stakeholder environments.
