We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software engineer to join our team in the commercial real estate industry. In this role, you will work at a global scale to solve real-world challenges that will transform Amazon’s approach to Industrial Real Estate in innovative ways. You will apply tools in workflow automation, geospatial intelligence and mapping, and artificial intelligence. You will work closely with a team of experts to develop and implement technology solutions that will revolutionize stakeholder business operations.

A day in the life

1. Lead, mentor, challenge, and grow other software engineers on the team.
2. Develop and implement software solutions leveraging workflow automation, geospatial intelligence, mapping, and AI to enhance business processes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions.
4. Participate in software architecture and design reviews.
5. Maintain and improve existing software applications to meet evolving business needs.
6. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
7. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Global Realty Tech manages software tools to centralize data on Amazon's building launches worldwide, covering thousands of projects related to new launches, retrofits, and leases. We establish global standards for managing data associated with these capital projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including scalability and reliability.
• Experience programming in at least one software language.
• 3+ years of experience covering the full software development lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
