Job Summary

Summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Director, Operations located in Tijuana BC.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring all operational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's goals. Working closely with senior management, the Sr Director will provide strategic leadership to develop, improve, and implement high productivity and quality standards in a safe and healthy work environment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to promote a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing guidance, training, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Guarantee production and delivery in full, on time, and according to specifications, at the most competitive cost.
• Define operational goals and execute plans.
• Manage large organizations with a proven performance track record.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for operational activities to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Implement operational programs aligned with strategic plans and annual goals.
• Meet with executive leaders monthly to review key operational indicators.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Provide strategic leadership to departments such as purchasing, production control, planning, engineering, and maintenance to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Monitor and analyze processes to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit, train, and retain a motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS degree.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Strong experience in people management and staff development.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in similar roles within Medical Devices or Automotive manufacturing environments.
• Experience guiding multiple manufacturing entities.
• Strong innovation, creativity, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to improve financial results.
• An MBA is a plus.
