Join a leading company as a Payroll Manager responsible for managing payroll across the Americas. You will oversee payroll processes, collaborate with various departments, and ensure compliance with regulations while driving improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with extensive payroll experience.
A Day In Your Life:
The Payroll Manager is responsible for the Americas payroll and will report to the Manager, Global Payroll.
You Make an Impact By:
Managing the International Assignee America process across all payrolls and manages the payroll team with multiple regional countries (Canada, Mexico, etc.).
Serve as payroll contact on the payroll set up in new foreign countries.
Coordinate with HR, Compensation, Finance, and other players on America’s payroll issues, including pay/compensation, time and attendance, benefits, bonuses, stock plan, etc.
Managing and approving payroll for all countries for salaried, hourly, and multi-state employees
Manage the payroll processes across all countries.
Responsible for all post-payroll processing duties to ensure payroll processing is complete.
Provide payroll reports to the business as needed.
Responsible and point of contact with all external payroll vendor teams in the region.
Lead the management of all 3rd party payments to ensure timely & accurate processing.
Lead tax year-end activities for all the country’s payrolls.
Responsible for managing payroll communication with external vendors.
Manage payroll cases and collaborate with the team and various workstreams to resolve employee cases within the SLA timeframe and quality expectations.
Lead and be a single point of contact for the region's payroll audit request.
Responsible for payroll operational controls that were on time and in line with SOX controls.
Responsible for identifying and driving process improvements across all payrolls and ensuring standardization.
Troubleshoots any issues to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborates with the team along with various workstreams and any relevant business partners.
Lead any new regional implementation and audit processes and ensure best practices.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of payroll experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Management experience
Strong English communication skills; both written and spoken
Ability to effectively analyze large amounts of data and present key findings to management.
Strong problem-solving skills, logical and analytical.
Highly motivated with strong customer service and quality work ethic.
Strong attention to detail, completes transactions accurately, and can meet tight deadlines.
