General Summary

The People Strategy and Operations – Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering Qualcomm’s compensation programs for the assigned regions (APAC/India/EMEA/Americas). Reporting to the Total Rewards Lead, this role collaborates with the Compensation and Benefits Communities of Practice to ensure seamless delivery of total rewards services. The ideal candidate has experience working with global teams and in matrix organizations, supporting the company's strategic and financial goals through competitive and compliant compensation programs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Compensation, HR, Finance, or related fields.
  • OR an Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • OR a High School Diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced degrees may substitute for work experience (Master’s = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support compensation programs leveraging knowledge of principles, processes, and best practices.
  2. Develop effective relationships with internal teams and external consultants.
  3. Assist during the annual review process with modeling, guideline development, and pay recommendations.
  4. Analyze compensation data to inform decisions and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  5. Prepare technical documentation for compensation decisions and processes.
  6. Develop compensation proposals aligned with policies and procedures.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive packages and ensure policy compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, HR, Mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in Compensation.
  • 3+ years using compensation systems/tools (e.g., Excel, Workday).
  • 1+ year working with senior leadership.
  • Experience in large matrix organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Total Rewards with 2-6 years of experience.
  • Experience with Workday/SuccessFactors/ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with survey providers like Radford, Mercer, WTW, Aon.
  • Understanding of global labor regulations.
  • Certification in compensation and benefits preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent movement between offices and campuses.
  • Tasks performed at various heights and durations.
  • Prolonged use of computers and communication devices.
