They’re looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cash flow management, budgeting, compliance, and risk management while working remotely with a high-performing U.S. team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in e-commerce accounting and finance,a deep understanding of e-commerce software tools and performance metrics, and ERP systems selection and implementation experience.

What You'll Do

• Accounting, Compliance & Risk Management:
• Working alongside external bookkeeping and accounting resources, ensure timely and accurate monthly closes, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
• Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor the cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and landed cost calculations.
• Implement best practices for inventory accounting, including reconciliation of warehouse and fulfillment center stock (e.g., Amazon FBA, Shopify, 3PLs).
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
• Ensure compliance, filing, and payment of state and federal taxes in partnership with external tax resources.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for state annual reporting.
• Ensure proper integration of financial systems with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, ShipBob, etc.) and payment processors.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of a cost-effective, scalable, and integrated e-commerce and retail ERP solution.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning:
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare rolling cash flow reporting to ensure the company’s liquidity and financial stability.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and ownership.
• Support fundraising activities, including traditional and revenue-based financing alternatives as needed.
• Revenue Optimization & Cost Management:
• Analyze revenue streams, customer acquisition costs, and gross margins to maximize profitability.
• Monitor marketing spend and its return on investment (CAC, MER, ROAS, ROI, etc.).
• Implement cost-control measures while maintaining operational efficiency.

What You Need

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years managing accounting/finance teams, with 3-5 years in e-commerce or digital businesses is a must.
• Knowledge of e-commerce business models, revenue recognition, and digital marketing.
• Expertise in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with ERP systems, e-commerce analytics, and financial automation tools.

Salary & Perks

• This is a full-time, long-term position.
• The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.
• Work from home.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
