Job Description

In this role, you will negotiate resolutions for accounts that are 5-59 days past due. You will provide customer service by adhering to a call plan and demonstrating NMAC/IFS Core Values. Your contributions will help build brand value and achieve sustainable profitable growth.

Job Functions:

Include but are not limited to:

1. Responding to outbound and inbound calls regarding delinquent accounts, negotiating payment arrangements beneficial to both NMAC/IFS and the customer.
2. Researching and resolving customer disputes, questions, and concerns related to account status.
3. Maintaining standard delinquency percentages and clearance ratios for your portfolio, achieving quality scores on phone monitors.
4. Utilizing all available tools and creatively investigating leads.
5. Analyzing delinquent accounts and making recommendations to senior staff or supervisors.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of auto finance and collections sufficient to service accounts 5-59 days overdue. Ability to diagnose situations and apply appropriate collection tools while complying with all regulations and company policies. Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated customer service responsiveness.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; BA degree preferred.
• Knowledge of collection techniques, business practices, and relevant regulations.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Fluent in English.

Schedule:

Availability to work 48 hours per week. Schedules may fall between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Depending on department needs, a 5- or 6-day schedule will be assigned for at least 6 months.
