The International Expansions team is responsible for helping to launch new Amazon marketplaces around the world. We are seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to work with our top vendors globally, driving our direct import business for emerging markets. You will have end-to-end ownership of the import supply chain processes—from manufacturer to Fulfillment Centers—and will develop and implement inventory management strategies to enhance customer experience.

This role requires an individual who can work independently in a fast-paced, demanding, and often ambiguous environment. Since the position involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders worldwide in a rapidly growing sector, strong stakeholder management skills, ownership, and a proactive approach are essential. You will act as an entrepreneur, managing all aspects of your business daily.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Educate Vendors on new country opportunities.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders of partnered vendors to grow and optimize the joint import business.
  3. Develop and improve vendor relations and import sourcing for cost savings and new product selection.
  4. Coordinate with global stakeholders to maintain alignment.
  5. Drive integration between new vendors and Amazon supply chain, compliance, and merchandising processes.
  6. Contribute to developing best practices and contract standards.
  7. Monitor, analyze, and own KPIs such as vendor import share, out-of-stock rate, operational metrics, and marketing investments.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and Amazon operations to ensure a reliable, cost-effective flow of goods from order to receipt.
  9. Work with internal teams to understand systems and variables influencing purchasing and vendor management decisions.
  10. Lead projects and business improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with Excel
  • 5+ years in account management, project or program management, or buying
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional/military experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience fostering cross-team collaboration
  • Business analysis and P&L management experience
  • Ability to drive alignment with cross-functional teams
