Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes and Istio infrastructure on AWS.
2. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
3. Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery.
4. Collaborate with development teams to improve workflows and developer experience.
5. Work with security teams to embed security practices into the development lifecycle.
6. Automate release, rollback, and disaster recovery processes to ensure system reliability.
7. Create and document processes to facilitate organizational knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Experience

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Istio, AWS, Terraform, and CI systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
2. Proven ability to utilize cloud services and open-source software to achieve business goals.
3. Experience automating release management, disaster recovery, and build/test automation.
4. Strong understanding of security best practices and collaboration with security teams.
5. Experience in building scalable systems and working cross-functionally.
6. Track record of delivering reliable, stable products across multiple platforms.
