We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead the launch of our new line of home humidifiers, playing a key role in bridging product development and full-scale manufacturing. JOB DUTIES:
- Lead the end-to-end production launch of new humidifier products, from pilot runs to full manufacturing ramp-up
- Develop and optimize assembly processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Design efficient assembly line layouts and specify production fixtures and tooling to support scalable operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to resolve launch-related challenges
- Drive the specification, sourcing, and procurement of capital equipment for new product introduction
- Apply solid engineering principles to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of HVAC components
- Use SolidWorks or AutoCAD to create and update manufacturing drawings, models, and tooling designs
- Participate in and lead design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews to support continuous product improvement
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues arising during pilot or production runs
- Ensure that ergonomics, safety, and lean principles are embedded into all assembly and manufacturing processes
MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of experience in HVAC/refrigeration product development or manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of vapor-compression refrigeration systems and components.
- Proven experience in assembly startup, including:
- Assembly process development
- Work instruction creation
- Assembly line layout and optimization
- Fixture design and implementation.
- Capital equipment specification and procurement.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or AutoCAD for mechanical and production design.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
WE VALUE:

- Background in Lean Manufacturing principles and implementation
- Knowledge of ergonomics, time and motion studies, and MTM (Methods-Time Measurement)
