You Are

UST is searching for an Automation Lead who will work ensuring adherence to test practices and processes to improve test coverage.

The Opportunity

1. Create Test Estimates and Schedules
2. Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
3. Ensure adherence to processes and standards
4. Produce test results, defect reports, test logs, and reports for evidence of testing
5. Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
6. Report progress of testing
7. Contribute to revenue savings for the client by suggesting alternate methods

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

1. Maven: Experienced working with general properties within pom.xml config file
2. Experienced setting builds within Maven’s pom.xml file and working with different types of plugins
3. Experienced working with Maven dependencies
4. TestNG: General knowledge of TestNG as a tool; experienced in setting, running, and maintaining projects dictated by Cucumber and handled by TestNG
5. Experienced in using JavaScript to work around issues presented at the UI level
6. Azure: Experienced in working with pipelines
7. Experienced in setting up pipelines
8. Experienced working with Azure Dashboards as well as setting them up
9. Git: Experienced working with branching strategies at Git
10. Must know how to fix issues provided by repositories
11. Basic to intermediate Git commands knowledge
12. 8+ years of experience and Automation lead experience
13. Java 11, Cucumber, Maven, Git, Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, MS SQL, Axe Devtool, SQL Data generator
14. Excellent communication and mentorship abilities
15. Strong in Java Core concepts
16. Able to rationalize and solve problems using Java language
17. Markup languages
18. Must be strong in XML and JSON OOP concepts and patterns
19. Constructors knowledge
20. Familiar with collections; lists and sets are a must
21. Must know how to work with exceptions, both checked and unchecked
22. Experienced in performing code reviews and aware of Java best practices for both writing and reviewing code
23. Selenium: Experienced using various types of Selenium locators
24. Experienced with using Page Object Model as a design pattern between Java and Selenium-related classes
25. Must know how to work around Selenium limits using Java
26. Cucumber: Experienced with step definition, page object modifiers, and features
