Job Description

Advance your career with Amaris Consulting as a Cloud Platform and Data Engineer. Join an international team within a global group with €800M turnover and over 1,000 clients. You will plan and execute projects in an agile environment, developing your potential and making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS).
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
• Develop infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy and manage services and microservices on AWS.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
• Automate deployment and scaling processes.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data storage solutions (Redshift, Glue, Snowflake, Athena).
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Leverage Databricks for scalable data processing and machine learning models.
• Develop and maintain machine learning models, utilizing services like SageMaker and Databricks.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated with new technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS cloud and platform engineering.
• Strong data engineering skills and familiarity with frameworks.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with machine learning tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Databricks for ML and pipelines.

Preferred Extras

• Experience with machine learning automation.
• Knowledge of Snowflake.
• AWS Solution Architect certification.
