Formación

Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

We are seeking passionate Full Stack Software Engineers who marry data with emerging technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, you’ll have the opportunity to drive major transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

1. Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
2. Stay current with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor others.
3. Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and empower millions financially.
4. Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go; work with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases; and manage container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, leveraging AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience (internships do not qualify).

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• Minimum of 3 years working with open-source frameworks.
• At least 2 years practicing Agile methodologies.
