We are looking for a Test & Process Engineer to join our team in Delicias


General Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes, managing all related resources and activities. It includes implementing engineering changes, creating procedures and work instructions, controlling tooling and equipment, supporting product transfers, developing projects, and validating results. All activities should focus on continuous quality improvement and operational productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Create, review, and approve CMRs and CMOs to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded.
  2. Create and approve TDAs (deviations) for products or processes when required.
  3. Create and modify routings in SAP as needed.
  4. Coordinate facility modifications as requirements change.
  5. Assign specifications and workflows in the maintenance module; support production with Tollgate issues.
  6. Create and update PFMEAs, procedures, and process flow charts for responsible products.
  7. Create or modify work instructions based on process changes or global documents.
  8. Update time studies for production of different products.
  9. Improve and modify processes to reduce or eliminate quality and cost concerns.
  10. Resolve issues related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
  11. Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  12. Develop and complete assigned projects, preparing reports and updates.
  13. Validate project results post-implementation regarding efficiency, scrap, and costs.
  14. Conduct formal product delivery lines to production with validated products.
  15. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment policies, standards, and procedures.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Industrial, Mechanical, or Electromechanical preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • 1-3 years of experience (preferred).
  • Ability to lead problem-solving efforts.

Skills Required

  • General knowledge of automation and PLC programming.
  • Experience in fault analysis and diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of control systems integration.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, SAP, and product deviations.
  • Experience in engineering changes, line balancing, diagram interpretation, and purchase order creation.
  • Knowledge of SPC, Kanban, Continuous Improvement, TL9000, dimensional metrology, and predictive/preventive maintenance.
  • Proactive, organized, positive attitude, teamwork, and good communication skills.
