Formación

  • 4+ años de experiencia en actividades de almacén o cadena de suministro.
  • Conocimiento en normas ISO y habilidades informáticas avanzadas.

  • Proporcionar liderazgo y asegurar un ambiente de trabajo seguro.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Team Lead plays an integral role in our Operations at Fastener Facility; Oversees the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a
range of goods as responsible of the traffic/logistic at our facility. The job holder manages people in the team in order to ensure goods are received
and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met. The Team Lead is also responsible for providing leadership and direction for all
Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost reduction objectives that meet and exceed our internal and external customers’ needs.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the process.
  2. Provide daily leadership to foster an injury-free workplace and ensure environmental compliance.
  3. Utilize space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, aligning with quality, budgetary, and environmental objectives.
  4. Maintain a clear understanding of the company's policies, vision, and the warehouse's role in achieving them.
  5. Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems as necessary for operations.
  6. Respond to and manage supplier communication via email and telephone effectively.
  7. Ensure inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counting procedures.
  8. Plan for future capacity requirements to meet operational demands.
  9. Organize recruitment and training of staff, monitor performance, and foster continuous development.
  10. Motivate and foster teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity targets.
  11. Develop and maintain work instructions to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  12. Generate regular reports and statistics to track performance and progress.
  13. Brief Operations Leaders daily on warehouse activities and performance.
  14. Coordinate daily activities with the Operations Team to meet customer requests promptly.
  15. Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards in the work environment, including safe storage of hazardous materials.
  16. Oversee planned maintenance of Power Industrial Trucks and warehouse building maintenance.
  17. Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems where applicable.
  18. Provide backup support as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  19. Ensure supervised department meets daily/annual goals. Assess and suggest new procedures and processes to increase efficiency.
  20. Develop, recommend, and coordinate the implementation of new procedures. Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives and ensure compliance with government regulations and maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment.

Requisitos

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 4 or + years previous experience on warehouse activities or supply chain
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001.
  • Understand the English language is preferable
  • Results oriented focus and ability to take ownership to resolve issues.
  • Flexibility and willingness to initiate and lead change.
  • High customer focus: ability to proactively identify and meet customer needs.
  • Ability to manage forklift and manually move things around the warehouse
  • Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of basic PC programs. Working knowledge of Google applications is a plus.
  • Forklift knowledge, verified certification preferable
  • Experience with transactional functions in mainframe computer systems (e.g. shipping / receiving functions) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with a highly participative team-work system.
  • Willingness and ability to recognize and address unsafe acts or at-risk conditions.
